HOW TO TITLE AND REGISTER WATERCRAFT IN THE STATE OF NEVADA
NEW OR UNTITLED WATERCRAFT:
1. Present proof of ownership (original bill of sale or subsequent bills of sale).
2. Present proof that a sales tax has been paid. Proof of sales tax is not required on a casual sale.
3. Present the original Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO).
a. If the original MSO is not available or the watercraft is coming from a non title state, the watercraft must be presented to an office of the Nevada Division of Wildlife for inspection.
4. If coming from a non-title state, the previous state registration, or certified copy of the state record must be provided.
5. Social Security number must be provided.
6. Pay the required fees.
7. This transaction cannot be completed through the mail.
OUT OF STATE TITLED WATERCRAFT:
1. Present the properly endorsed out-of-state Certificate of Ownership (Title) to an office of the Division of Wildlife. A watercraft inspection may be necessary, please contact the nearest Nevada Division of Wildlife office for more information.
2. Present proof that a sales tax has been paid, if applicable (dealer sale, broker sale, repossession). Proof of sales tax is not required on a casual sale.
3. Social Security number must be provided.
4. Pay the required fees.
5. This transaction cannot be completed through the mail.
NEVADA TITLED WATERCRAFT:
1. Present the properly endorsed Nevada Certificate of Ownership (Title) to an office of the Division of Wildlife.
2. Present proof that a sales tax has been paid, if applicable (dealer sale, broker sale, repossession). Proof of sales tax is not required on a casual sale.
3. Social Security number must be provided.
4. Pay the required fees.
5. This transaction may be completed through the mail. Please contact the nearest Nevada Division of Wildlife office for more information.
FEES:
1. Initial Certificate of Ownership (Title), this includes new, untitled, and out of state watercraft: $15
2. Certificate of Number (Registration) and Decals for current calendar year, January 1 through December 31:

| 13 feet or more but less than 18 $15 |
| 18 feet or more but less than 22 $30 |
| 22 feet or more but less than 26 $45 |
| 26 feet or more but less than 31 $60 |
| 31 feet or more $75 |
3. Nevada Title transfer fee: $5
4. Replacement Certificate of Ownership: $5
5. Replacement Certificate of Number and/or Decals: $10
6. Replacement Certificate of Ownership and Certificate of number: $15
