Petrified Logs: Two interpretive trails lead to the petrified logs.

Petroglyph Canyon Self-Guiding Trail: Hike is 1/2 mile (.8 km) round-trip, rated easy, through a sandy canyon leading to Mouse's Tank, fine examples of prehistoric Indian rock writings are located here.

Fire Canyon/Silica Dome: A trail offers an easy 3-mile (4.8 km) round-trip hike, rated moderate, from Rainbow Vista. From this vantage point visitors have an excellent view of the dep red sandstone of Fire Canyon, and the unique geological features of Silica Dome.
