Churches
Jackpot
has four church denominations.
The
Southern Baptist Church is located on Piersanti St. and has Sunday
services in both English and Spanish.
The
L.D.S. (Mormon) Church is located on Progressive Drive and has
services on Sunday.
The
Lutheran services are held on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Jackpot
Community Church.
Catholic
services are held on Sunday at 6:00 pm in the Jackpot Community
Church.
The
Jackpot Community Church is a 100 year old building moved to Jackpot
from Eden, Idaho. It houses both the Lutheran and Catholic Churches.

Schools
Jackpot's
education extends from K - 12. Elko County School are progressive
and offer high salaries to its teachers. All material are supplied
by the schools. The high school and junior high school have basketball,
volleyball, football, golf and track teams. Soccer is played in
the spring and summer months. Swimming is offered as a school
Physical Education class and swimming lessons are available during
the summer months. Scholarships for Jackpot's graduating seniors
are the envy of other schools. Most years, every student who applies
for a scholarship receives at least one substantial scholarship.
