Located
on Highway 93 just south of the Idaho - Nevada border is Jackpot,
Nevada. 45 miles from Twin Falls, Idaho and 68 miles from Wells,
Nevada, highway 93 is the main connector route for travelers from
I-80 in Nevada to I-84 in Idaho.
Jackpot
has much to offer the traveler as well as the
outdoor enthusiast. Clear streams and rivers loaded with fish,
hunting, hiking, biking, and camping. Even some canoeing. In the
winter, great snowmobiling and cross country skiing.
For
the traveler looking for other recreation, Jackpot boast one of
the best 18 hole golf courses in this part of the country. It
is so respected that the Idaho Open is played here.

for nightlife. Jackpot has plenty of that to offer. After all
this is Nevada.
The
town holds many events throughout the year from rodeos to off
road races to an abundance of golf tournaments. There is always
something to do in Jackpot.
At an elevation of 5,217, the Jackpot
Municipal Airport is lighted and has 6,200 feet of runway. It
has an airport building with a restroom and courtesy phones. If
your flying in you will need to call Reno Flight Services at 1-800-WX-
BRIEF ( 1-800-992-7433) Fuel is also availiable at the ariport.
A
large recreation center and indoor swimming pool are open all
year with a variety of activities for all ages.
